We offer the appointments online or via telephone. If you want to work online we will send you a link the night before using google meet.
We believe that clients feel the most comfortable in their own space, having the opportunity to be at home, in a room you are comfortable in enables you to open up, whilst feeling safe and content. It takes away the stress of travel and worry of traffic. It also provides you an opportunity after the appoitnment to wind down in your own home, we always recommend taking 5 - 10 minutes after an appoitnment to relax, being at home offers this opportunity.
It is £50 for an appoitnment.
We do offer a discount for low income and students, if this applies to you please do mention it and we can discuss it further.
Yes, we require at least 24 hours notice that you are unable to attend your appointment. We are happy for this to be done via text, email or a phone call. If there is less than 24 hours notice the full amount for the appointment will be charged.
We work Monday - Friday, the hours do vary each day and we do work a late evening on a Wednesday. Let us know the best time for you and we will try and accomodate.
From the day you make your enquiry we will try and get you booked in for your first appointment or the introductory call within 1 week.
Everything we talk about in your appointments will be confidential. This is only broken if there is a risk to yourself or others, but you will be spoken to before any confidentiality is broken.
I am required to have supervision every month, this is to ensure I am working in the best way and supporting you correctly. No names or any way of identifying you is shared, all I share is the topic and how I am working with that topic.
This is subjective to you, in our first appointment we can discuss this with you but ultimately the person in charge of this is you.
We can make a recommendation to review where you are at your 4th or 6th appointment. For some clients they prefer to leave it open and come to that decision to end when they are ready.
We offer long term therapy as well as short term so for us we are happy to follow your lead with what you want.
If you are usnure that therapy is right for you, please do get in touch. We would be very happy to chat about this and look at any concerns you may have. There is no obligation to book an appointment, we can talk it through, and you can then take some time to think it through before making a decision.
